What Will Your Role Be
  • Administrating and Managing DevOps Environment including technologies like Jenkins, Git/Gitlab and Ansible to deliver infrastructure as code.
  • Maintain the automation infrastructure (Jenkins, Ansible machines, Git and more) and help improving these automated processes.
  • Resolve day to day technical issues through Debugging, Research and Investigation.
  • Develop new playbooks, roles, code to address new requirements. Come up with innovative ways to improve DevOps environment.
  • Work closely with a geographically distributed team.
  • Participate in scrum, sprint meetings to discuss issues and tasks.
  • Install & manage Linux environment related to Devops setup like rpm syncs, OS deployment, system configuration.
  • Mentor and guide fellow junior colleagues as needed.


The Challenges ahead
  • Be self-motivated and eager to learn and understand the environment quickly.
  • A good amount self learning is expected
  • Should be able to troubleshoot and debug issues related to ansible, Jenkins, code etc.
  • Capable of developing useful tools, scripts to automate and ease day to day tasks.
  • Technical competency on Linux and network is expected.
  • Explore the existing environment and suggest improvements


Your Key success factors
  • BE / M.S in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track records.
  • 4 - 6 Yrs of hands on experience in creating,managing Ansible playbooks, roles, Jenkins,Git, Linux OS ( RPM,PXE boot etc. )
  • Deep understanding of DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Git Concepts.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in developing tools using languagues like shell, Phython, Ansible, Powershell etc.
  • Hands on experience in administering a Gitlab on-premise and CI/CD processes.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Windows etc.
  • Good to have knowledge on puppet, salt, chef etc.
  • Good to have working experience in agile methodology/sprints”)
  • Basic understanding of VMware and Storage environment.
  • kubernetes/docker knowledge/experience highly welcome.
  • Strong Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot applications & environment issues.
  • Adaptability, ability to learn faster, independent, responsible and diligent.
  • Good team spirit and interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal, communication skills, analytical skills & Business thinking.
  • Leads DevOps environment topics.Manages and ensures high service delivery and execution.
  • Achieves performance goals and objectives in line with the team wide vision and goals.
