Job Description:

  • Timely closure of reporting periods and review of month, quarter and year end reporting.
  • Prepare and publish AR metric dashboard reporting at regular intervals.
  • Handle escalation and provide solutions to the stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and act by making recommendations to management and drive resolution.
  • Drive business continuity and ensure minimum disruption. Be hands-on in change management.
  • Clearly communicate team goals and deliverables and keep the team updated on changes.
  • Demonstrates strengths in sharing constructive feedback, ensure high level of team engagement.
  • Maintaining detailed transaction information; supporting collection efforts through written communication.
  • Assisting with other accounting projects and assignments as needed, such as RPA, Abbyy and UI Path.
  • Proactively obtains feedback from customers and takes measure to improve process and meet their needs. Able to explain work statement and provide alternatives for better results.
  • Has ability to set priorities, manage deadlines and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Uses best practices, proposes improvement ideas within the area of responsibilities; is more
  • independent and receives minimum guidance. May lead projects with scope of work.

Skills

  • Should have very good knowledge in accounts receivable & cash application activities, recent technological advancement in the domain.

  • Steady work experience in cash applications and accounts receivable commensurate to this job’s responsibilities that involved high volume transactions.

  • Able to form a vision for the team and relate to the big picture and able to manage daily productivity target.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Excel (Lookups, Pivots, etc.) as well as proficient with Word and other Microsoft Office software.

Educational Qualification:

  • Commerce Graduate / Post Graduate degree/MBA


Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
  • People management experience of 3+ years - performance appraisals, coaching, and development of teams in captive environment.
