Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Managing Data Centre team – To ensure smooth operations, and prompt resolution of incidents. Expected to manage team working in shifts 24*7
  • Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly reports preparation and submission
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders and management of projects related to data centre
  • Vendor coordination – OEMs and system integrators - on AMC renewals, new equipment purchases
  • Team management / Leadership skills
  • Continuous efforts on process improvement related to data centre operations
  • Expertise on OS level trouble shooting - Linux/ Windows/ Solaris systems
  • Expertise in dealing with virtualization environments – vmware
  • Experience in managing SAN/ NAS storage setups
  • Experience in Data center networking
  • o Expertise on Fortinet firewall – SDWAN, IPS, countering DOS attacks etc
  • o Expertise on Radware WAF, and Barracuda Load balancer related operations
  • o Experience in dealing with L2/L3 switches, VLAN configurations and troubleshooting on network issues
  • Experience in implementing information security measures to effectively counter threats and managing vulnerabilities
