Sub-con support cell Management

Ensure for supervise and co-ordinate activities relating to evaluation, selection of new sub-Contracting companies, training and induction of these on Otis Jobs.


Ensure timely execution of New Agreements & renewal of Agreements of Agency as per Annexure & Company pre-defined Format between the sub-contractor and Otis.


Ensure for screening and approving candidates identified by the Sub-contractors for employment.


Ensure for control and monitor issue, upgrading and renewal of identity cards to sub-contractors and their employees.


Ensure timely issuing Certificates of Authority to Work to sub-contractors with in the time frame.


Ensure timely submission and take the approvals from competent authority for payment of PE & ESI bills of sub-contractors.


Ensure maintain a full database of all the sub-contractors who are working for the region and keep all the information current & maintain MIS report.


Ensure periodic evaluation of the Sub-contractors and publishing the evaluation data.

Labour and Statutory Compliance

Ensure for 100% statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, Labour Law, Minimum Wages, Child labour Law & CLRA of sub-contractors.


Ensure for pre-employment one time statutory compliance of the Sub-contractors and Sub-contractor employees.


Ensure that sub-contractors comply with all statutory requirements like Maintaining Employee Attendance Record at job sites, Payment of minimum wages (as per the local act.).


Ensure that the sub-contractor is deducting PF and ESIC contributions and is paying to the statutory authorities on a regular basis.


Ensure that the sub-contractor capacity to directly comply (or assist Otis in complying with) all legal and statutory requirements such as coverage of its workers under PF, ESIS, payments under Minimum Wages Act and other applicable Labour Laws & Child Labour policy.


Ensure for the sub-contractor is made aware of the statutory requirements relating to the employees.


Ensure all employees are to be covered under ESIC before they appear at the job site for training or for assigned work.


Ensure all Employees are to be covered under PF before they appear at the job site for training or for assigned work.


Ensure the sub-contractor must pay wages according to the —minimum wages act as applicable.
Ensure the Agency confirms that he has been informed about the applicable Otis Policies including Business Ethics, Improper payments, Child labour etc. It will be the sole responsibility of the Agency to ensure adherence to above policies.


Ensure maintain a full database of all the sub-contractors who are working for the region and keep all the information current & maintain MIS report.

AMT / Shipment Coordination

Ensure timely follow ups with source for scanned copy of required documents with a copy to personnel from Regions for the goods clearance from port & delivered to site within the time frames.


Ensure timely share shipping documents with clearing agents well before arrival of the goods & request them to share a Check list before final assessment of duty.


Ensure for check List to be checked w.r.t. PO / AMT/ordering documents for items, part # qty, unit price, Insurance, Freight, total price, & duty rates.


Ensure timely post receipt of scanned copy of finally assessment bill of entry operating person to get the RFV approved from the authorized signatory & send it to HO processing with a request to them to send scanned copy of Duty paid Challan within the time frames.


Ensue timely post receipt of scanned copy of duty paid challan , share it with clearing agents Follow up for clearance within demurrages free Period till shipment is cleared.

Ensure timely delivery of the goods at site, get confirmation from site personnel of receipt of goods & Get the bills from clearing agents with supporting & closed financially
