About the department

CVT CoE is a unit primarily responsible for compliance, validation and Test management of 1000+ GxP/financial/business critical systems which are closely inspected by country specific regulatory bodies around the world especially the FDA, MHRA etc. These services are provided across NN Organization to Global IT, CMC, PS, NNI and IO.

The position

This position holder is responsible for managing a team of Testing Specialists and consultants (Manual and Automation). He/ She will also be responsible for service management of Testing CoE. You will be responsible for end to end service delivery management of the assigned/owned testing services. We expect you to manage manual and automation testing capabilities to support agile teams and build competency of Leap Work Automation.

Furthermore, you will be responsible to ensure service is delivered in agreement with OLAs, contracts etc. You will be responsible for Service KPIs management, stakeholder management, demand, and capacity – forecasting demand and competency development. You will be responsible for service complaint/incident, escalation at level 1, service evaluations to ensure that service meets business’ demands and act as a single point of contact towards customers. You will be responsible for continuously maintain, develop, and improve service catalogue, monitoring SLA invoices, budget handling, follow up of invoices for PS, Global IT. We expect you to ensure service is delivered in compliance with internal and external requirements.

Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor management, resource allocation, resource availability. We expect you to ensure Testing capabilities and service quality and involved in organising trainings from Testing SMEs on new developments/learnings. You will be responsible to ensure maintenance and improvement of service management processes and drive/engage optimisation of service catalogue to meet future agile requirements and drive process model changes in compliance in alignment to the organisational changes and LEAN initiatives and evaluate cross functional teams’ development and drive utilisation efficiency.

Addition to the above, you will be responsible for leading the team as NN WAY role model in all aspects of People Management, Drive Efficiency, Drive capacity planning, team performance management, productivity, and innovation, Define and drive unit goals.

Qualifications

Below skills are required to have:


  • Masters degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, IT Quality, BioChemistry, Biotechnology)
  • Certifications in COBIT/Six Sigma/Lead Auditor/ BCS ISEB
  • Mandatory Certification in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (Medical Devices)
  • Mandatory Certification in ITIL
  • Overall experience of more than 12+ years in the IT or equivalent industry
  • 1+ years of people management experience within pharmaceutical or other relevant industry, including hiring, appraising and development responsibility of people
  • 2+ years of experience in managing Testing deliverables in service level-based setup
  • Expertise in SDLC and STLC
  • Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, 21 CFR Part 11), self-driven to ensure that the IT systems will pass inspections from the authorities without problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to represent NN in relations with users and external stakeholders across geographies
  • Should keep an up to date expert knowledge of anticipated regulations from the authorities and codes/standards within the IT disciplines and contribute to the strategy of Compliance and Quality in NN
  • Should be able to effectively manage employee utilization and maximum efficiency with right balance on employee engagement
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement in the department
