Within Investment Solutions, the Managed Solutions Team is responsible for managing discretionary investment strategies and performing manager due diligence for clients across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management ("WM"). Discretionary investment offerings include multi-asset, single asset class and alternative strategies offered through individual accounts and private and registered funds. The Managed Solutions Business Management Team supports senior management in the Managed Solutions organization within WM Investment Solutions to manage and execute key initiatives.

Role Description:

The Managed Solutions Business Manager, Analyst, will be involved with the strategic planning and execution of high impact initiatives, as well as supporting day-to-day organizational management for the Global Head of Multi Asset and Portfolio Solutions, within Investment Solutions.

This role will work in close partnership with Managed Solutions Leadership, Client facing teams, Finance, Product Development, Marketing, Controls Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support the Global Head of Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions (who oversees the Chief Investment Office, Manager Selection / Due Diligence, Specialized Strategies and Institutional Portfolio Solutions teams) in driving strategic analyses/initiatives, preparing for speaking engagements and key meetings, reviewing of materials from business partners, and coordinating various communication efforts
  • Manage strategic business initiatives to drive innovation and transformation across the managed solutions platform ranging from investment performance, product development, due diligence, execution, governance, and client experience
  • Assist Senior Management and teams across Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions in all aspects of the platform ranging from strategic priorities to day-to-day challenges
  • Present business proposals and conduct checkpoints with Senior Management for review and approval
  • Develop a detailed understanding of current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives; develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offering and associated control processes
  • Represent Managed Solutions interests and priorities in key decision making forums
  • Help Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions teams measure results via business and team impact; track and meet key deliverable/milestone deadlines
  • Establish and participate in working groups to help implement key initiatives and address day-to-day issues, requiring effective partnership with the following groups: Investments; Legal; Compliance; Technology; Operations; Middle Office; Risk Management; Marketing; Finance; and Human Resources
  • Provide tactical team support, e.g., procedure updates, presentations and reporting for senior management, tracking of business and team deliverables/milestone deadlines
  • Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls; influence and implement changes to enhance control design and operating model across the business

    Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in Banking / Wealth Management with knowledge of related products preferred
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, investments and macro-level economic trends
  • Working knowledge of investment products and/or capital markets is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables) and knowledge in applications like Tableau, Alteryx, Python preferred
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda
  • Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
