Azure Hosting Services Delivery Manager

The Azure Cloud Services Service Delivery Manager assures the needs of the customer are meet by the The Azure Services team efficiently and in line with the highest quality possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering Cloud services to the IT organization globally throughout the service lifecycle within the agreed service levels.
  • Establish services and manage vendor performance.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of suppliers’ operations teams to manage and maintain BAU service, the provision of the Cloud service
  • Oversee the general health of the live service required to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing architectural integrity of the service throughout its lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all IT Service Management processes, Service Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets.
  • Be a driver of improvements in service delivery (increasing effectiveness and efficiency, removing unnecessary latency, driving automation of the routines)
  • Serve as part of a team of individuals to deliver product ownership to the Azure Hosting service across S+N globaly
What you will need to be successful in this position:
  • Experience in IT delivery and Service management in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines
  • A good level understanding of cloud infrastructure (especially Azure)
  • Proven record of supporting complex services preferably in the life science sector
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL disciplines
  • SNI Business and Customer focused
  • Experience of managing 3 rd parties and 3 rd party delivered services
  • Solid communications skills to include use of the English language
  • A strong sense of ownership and transparent acceptance of responsibility
  • A positive team player who can work collaboratively across the company and time zones
  • Able to work in a very result orientated business with multiple concurrent projects and quick times to delivery

  • Flexibility to support a true global 24x7 organization
Certification

  • Azure Fundamentals AZ900 strictly required
  • Additional Azure Certifications a plus
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • ITIL foundations recommended
