Position: Back-end Developer

Location: Kolkata (On-site)

Experience: 3+ Years

CTC: 9 LPA

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain high-quality server-side applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

● Optimize application performance by implementing caching strategies using Redis.

● Create and manage database schemas and queries using MongoDB.

● Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure efficient integration between frontend and backend components.

● Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data.

● Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality and maintainability.

● Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and provide timely resolutions.

● Stay updated with the latest backend development trends, frameworks, and tools, and suggest improvements to the tech stack.

● Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and support.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks, particularly FastAPI.

● Solid understanding of web development concepts, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.

● Experience working with databases like MongoDB and caching mechanisms using Redis.

● Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.

● Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a bonus.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

● Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

● Demonstrated experience in designing and building scalable backend systems.
