About the company:

Root Bridge Foundation is a non-profit organization working for the promotion of sustainable tourism practices in India’s Northeast and Eastern Himalayas. The main activities of the foundation consist of research, advocacy, awareness creation, destination development, policy-level interventions, training, networking, consultancy, and the facilitation of better community-driven tourism models. Our projects impact some of the most disadvantaged populations, including women and indigenous communities, who not only gain access to livelihoods but also have a chance to redefine their identity and role in society. About the internship/job:

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Work on the overall management of Gibbon Backpackers Hostel, Guwahati 2. Interact with guests & traveling community and provide information about the region 3. Manage front office & keep the account 4.Ensure the vibe of the place.

Who can apply:

Only those students or freshers can apply who:

  • are available for full time (in-office) internship
  • have relevant skills and interests
  • can start the internship between 27th Jun’21 and 1st Aug’21
  • are available for duration of 2 months
  • have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
  • Females willing to start/restart their career may also apply
