Banking Business Analyst

As a Banking Business Analyst (consultant/senior consultant) at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for leading the team and mentor junior team members along with liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand and work on the functional requirements. You will also be involved in research and analysis of emerging fintechs. Also, you would be responsible for status reporting and collection of metrics for analysis.

The work you will do

Working with a team of developers on Banking related applications.

Helping design various banking workflows and bring subject matter expertise to the table.

Working with other onsite BAs and coordinating on system design.

Conducting research on new banking solutions.

Performing Proof of Concept for different banking solutions and emerging fintech.

Assessing risk in the product design and finding solutions for the same.

Creating any functional documentation or diagrams required for the project.

Performing functional testing during sprints.

Writing demo scripts, scenarios for client or leadership demos.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with strong academic record.

MHA/B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.Tech/MBA

Prior Experience:
3 – 6 years (with experience Banking as Business Analyst)

Skills / Project Experience - required:
Experience with API frameworks, using REST APIs and tools for testing APIs

Experience with banking service providers like payment rails, banking aggregators, card vendors.

Experience in different banking services like core banking, deposits, lending, money movement.

Sound knowledge of estimation techniques.

Excellent analytical skills.

Exceptional communication skills.

Skills / Project Experience - good to have:
Experience with core-banking systems like Finxact, Thoughtmachine, 10x, Mambu etc.
