Roles and Responsibilities

Needs to work independently on a FEA Simulation based automotive programs in area NVH and Durability.

Qualifications and Experience

B.E/ B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience: 4-5 Years

Good working knowledge in Abaqus, Nastran/Optistruct.
Debug skills in Abaqus input deck, post-processing knowledge.
Abaqus nonlinear implicit analysis for stiffness calculations.
Modal/FRF/Stiffness analysis using Nastran or Optistruct.
Exposure to Topology optimization and structural light weighting will be an added advantage.
FE model build up using HM/Ansa for Abaqus and Nastran solver.
Skills to work on FEA based design solutions / recommendations to develop countermeasure for improving vehicle stiffness related issues.
Capability to interpret FEA results and detailed technical report preparation.
Should have good understanding of modelling BIW, Composites and Adhesives.
Should have good exposure to plastic parts discretization (mesh generation).
Strong knowledge on established procedures / best practices in CAE.
Deep Technical analyses, problem solving skills and FEA fundamentals.
Familiar with CAE correlation with Physical testing will be an added advantage.
Should work independently and drive the project till end.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
