What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as an Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, NABL regulations, recognised specifications, etc.

Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards, your key responsibilities will also include:

1. Calibration of measuring equipment in the QVC LABS CALIBRATION SERVICES and on customer sites

2. To include calibration of Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Gauge Blocks, Plain Plugs, Thickness Gauges, Comparator Stands, Surface Plates, Plug, Pin, Snap, Dial, Lever Dial Gauges etc.

3. Maintenance of Calibration Certification records and traceability

4. Assist in the development and Improvement of Inspection and Calibration procedures

5. Participate in external/internal audits as required by the QVC LABS Quality Manager

6. Endeavour to complete all work within the budgeted costs and target dates and ensure proper control and accounting of work in progress is maintained and that all information required for charging

Inspection or calibration experience
Ideally technical qualification such as a degree, HND or HNC
Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Experience working within a customer focussed environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Inspection or calibration experience
• Ideally technical qualification such as a degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical with relevant experience.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
•Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
•Experience working within a customer focussed environment
•Candidate from Uttarakhand and Nothern Districts will be preferred.
