Name of Position: Campaign Manager - Agri Clinic

Location of Work: Pune

Education Qualification: MSc Agri / MBA Agri / ABM / Any other diploma/ Certificate of Agriculture aligned.

Language Proficiency: Working fluency in Marathi, Hindi & English (good to have).

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 Years of experience in the Agri & Rural development sector, including crop planning, community mobilization, modern farming techniques, crop management, and sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Farmer Producer Organizations, emerging Ag-tech ecosystems, Agri-extension domain, and understanding of value chain development in agriculture.
  • Must have experience in handling field teams in Agri-related projects.

About Project:

1. FarmRise One:

FarmRise One is an agricultural technology platform delivered by a partnership of four companies to help farmers increase their productivity & access to financial tools. The project aims to enable the different players in the Food & Agriculture value chain to connect & transact through an interoperable, data-driven phygital (Physical + Digital) ecosystem.

2. Digital Leader Program:

FarmRise One being a Phygital program have a team of Digital Leader (DL) who are community champions helping in the adoption of upcoming digital services in the agricultural ecosystem. The role of Digital Leader is based on the concept of Agri- entrepreneurship to empower the farmers & other stakeholders in the agri value chain through digital transactions & credit facilities. Digital Leader has an on-ground team of three Digital Sahbhagis, who assists the DL in this process.

3. Agri Clinic Activity:

Agri Clinics are the perfect opportunity to hear about community issues and take action to support them. The event acts as a stage to connect the client and their value proposition to the community & the DLs to fulfil their core objective- to serve their community. By encouraging this community-client connection the DLs will be able to achieve KPIs and retain the community that they create. The main purpose of Agri Clinic activity is to establish a link between farmers and experts of different agri- domains like crop science, farm-credit, post-harvest technology etc. in their region. It also enables better engagement between FPC & their member farmers.

Key Skills/ Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work with DL team and their Farmer Producer Companies, Better Life farming (BLF) centres, Agri-Traders & Collection centres for designing season-wise crop calendar for Agri Clinic activity.

o Ensure the coordination between local client team & DL team for effective implementation of Agri Clinic.

  • Farmer Outreach and Mobilization:

o Identify various clinic topics through diagnosing farmer / FPO / Agri-traders pain points and challenges, addressing them through multiple offerings.

o Develop Agri-clinic pre and post event strategies to encourage quality farmer participation and measure clinic effectiveness, ensuring maximum farmer attendance and involvement.

o Develop a marketing strategy to promote the Agri- Clinic event and attract new and repeated farmers.

  • Data Analysis and Insights:

o Conduct market research to understand the agriculture sector’s supply chain and demand gaps.

o Carry out research on the region/district’s Agri ecosystem in order to identify emerging trends of farmers/FPCs that can be addressed through Agri Clinics.

  • Training and Capacity Building:

o Organize & conduct regular training sessions for DL teams focusing on enhancing their understanding of modern farming techniques, sustainable agricultural practices, and digital technologies.

o Dissemination of best practices and cross-learning within DLs and teams.

  • Reporting and Documentation:

o Create a month-wise Agri-clinic event calendar along with DLs and Stakeholders.

o Maintain comprehensive documentation of all Agri Clinic events, including participant lists, outcomes, success stories, challenges faced, and lessons learned.

o Prepare regular reports to share with higher management and project stakeholders.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation:

o Establish a robust monitoring and evaluation framework for Agri Clinic activities.

o Regularly assess the impact of initiatives on various subjects and track progress towards set KPIs, making necessary adjustments to improve performance.

  • Budget Management:

o Handle the budget allocation for Agri Clinic events and training sessions efficiently.

o Ensure that expenses are well-managed, and resources are utilized effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Innovations and Adaptations:

o Stay updated with the latest developments in the agricultural sector, digital technologies, and market trends.

o Propose innovative ideas and adaptations to continuously improve the Agri Clinic program’s effectiveness and relevance.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and leadership Skills.
  • Observation and Monitoring, along with Problem-solving.
  • MS Office suites and G suites.
  • Familiarity with agricultural technology and software applications is an advantage.
  • Marketing and Analytical Skills or Relevant Previous Experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
