The Incubation Head will be responsible for managing the incubation operations, planning, execution , development and growth of the Incubators. He or she would be responsible for successfully managing the entire Startup life cycle, right from ideation / induction to spin off of start-ups in different degrees and levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Incubation Head will be responsible for managing the incubator operations. This would include :

- To induct and take care of new entrepreneurs , overall Incubation planning and execution. keep track of the Incubation process. Assist and oversee the incubates prepare proposals for getting funding, etc Helping/Guiding startups to build prototypes and eventually building business.

- Develop processes, procedures and policies of Incubation and manage day to day governance and operations.

- Events and workshops : Plan various relevant workshops- events - webinars

- Mentor Network : Develop the mentor network for the Incubator (Technical and Business) and work with them to make the Incubated venture successful.

- Manage outreach communications & Partnerships : Liaison with the government and relevant industries and companies catering to the university objectives.

- Marketing the Incubator and Business Development : Responsible to connect and network with related entrepreneurial groups, funding organisations, and relevant agencies.

- Funding for Incubatee Projects : Work with co-ordination with senior management for setting up and seed funds for start-ups. Proactively Identifying funding sources for projects requiring financial assistance

- Motivate , Manage, and guide the Incubation team members / staff . Ensures incubation project compliance with applicable internal and external accreditations and requirements

- Prepare all required dashboards and reports and maintains all the activities related to incubation

Education : Graduate or Post Graduate in Science or Engineering or Entrepreneurship

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE : 12+ years of experience in a business incubator, a start-up , funding would be preferred.

Minimum 4 to 6 years experience working with entrepreneurs , startups, relationships with startups.

Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with start-ups, universities, research institutions, industry experts , associations , chamber of commerce and angel investors.
