This job opportunity is to join JPMorgan’s Data Technology team in Mumbai and be a part of a team that is responsible for the creation of a cloud based state of the art Data platform that would help Data SMEs ingest, transform, model data and make it ready for commercialization through the commercialization tool.

Roles, Responsibilitiesand expectations
  • Proficient in building batch and streaming based data pipelines using AWS services
  • Strong knowledge on AWS data related services like EMR,Glue,Redshift,RDS,etc
  • Hands-on experience in Big Data storage and processing frameworks like Hadoop,Spark,Hive,etc
  • Hands-on experience with any programming language (Python - Preferred)
  • Able to troubleshoot and debug issues related to data processing
  • Good knowledge on CI/CD concepts related to deploying data pipelines to higher environments
  • Good knowledge on concepts related to data warehousing, database modelling, data quality and reference data management
  • Good knowledge on IAM , AWS networking related services and access control
  • Experience in building and supporting large scale data processing systems in a production environment
  • Eager to explore new cloud offerings and continue to improve and optimize data storage and processing
  • Good knowledge on Data/ETL testing
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) stack
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk,Datadog,etc
  • Experience with migrating data pipelines from on-premise to AWS
  • Basic knowledge on Infrastructure As Code tools - Terraform, Cloudformation
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands on experience in building data pipelines using AWS services
  • 5+ years of overall experience in software development and testing
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
