As a Quality Assurance Automation member you will be instrumental in and responsible for designing and developing high quality test scripts and solutions for functional testing scope using various tools like Selenium, Cucumber etc. This will include designing and developing or enhancing existing scripts. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Selenium and functional testing on Digital technologies and have experience with various automation frameworks.

Core Responsibilities

• Designing and developing high quality test scripts and solutions for functional testing scope using various tools like Selenium, Cucumber etc
• Enhancing existing scripts
• Work in Agile ceremonies including daily Scrum, sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Manual regression testing
  

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• 4+ years’ experience working with Selenium and Cucumber
• Hands on with development and test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. BDD and Cucumber)
• Document the steps to run the end-to-end automation
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ability to use version tools such as BitBucket
• Experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle)
• Expertise in Testing UI for complex high-volume Web applications.
• Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Understanding of software skills such as defect analysis, execution, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Comfortable around coding languages and automation frameworks.
• A desire to work on a mature Agile project, with a focus on applying Lean techniques to maximize time spent delivering benefit.
• A willingness to actively particulate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including but not limited to: refinement of requirements, estimation & planning, platform design & implementation, test & deployment automation, and platform resiliency & support.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications for different audiences, ranging from senior business to junior technology staff.
• Writing clean, functional code.
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field along with a minimum of 4-8 years of overall IT experience
