Job Description

The Senior Design Engineer - Material Handling Projects will be responsible for handling design of equipments in material handling/floor based automation system/assembly, sub assembly lines. He will handle following tasks.
  • Study of the project, contact customers/application engineers to get necessary details
  • Preparation, evaluation and finalization of concepts
  • Engineering calculations and selection of components
  • Part detailing – 3D/2D
  • Interaction with customers for any technical discussion/DAP
  • Maintaining record of drawings/revisions
Desired Candidate Profile
  • B.E – Mechanical/Mechatronics with 8+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of CAD – working experience with cad tools- Solid Edge, Solid Works & Autocad
  • Experience in core design of conveyor, spms, fixtures
  • Should be able to handle team size of 4 people
  • Should be good in office tools such as ms word, excel, powerpoint.
  • Should be technically strong, quick at learning
  • Ideally from material handling background having experience in designing floor based conveyors- slat type, chain type, roller type, belt type etc. Handling assembly/sub assembly line projects for automotive and other sectors, conveyor lines for e-commerce and similar sectors is desirable.
