Key Responsibilities:

EDC (95%):

  • RAVE and/or Inform EDC data management.
  • Data review and query management in the EDC and Imaging systems.
  • Perform SAS reports review to identify data discrepancies.
  • Partner with data management team to perform UAT activities.
  • Assist data management team on all DM start-up activities, including the development of

1) CRFs/eCRFs/CRF specifications

2) Edit check specifications

3) Data entry guides, data validation plan and data management plan.

Data Entry activities (5%):

  • Data Entry activities for existing paper studies, including log, entry, verification, and QC as needed.
  • Conduct SAS data review, perform query management and resolve data issues with clinical study team.
  • Analyze metrics and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

Required:

  • RAVE architecture experience as a RAVE study builder; RAVE certified EDC builder is preferred.
  • Experience of electronic clinical data management systems. Medidata Rave /Oracle Inform are preferred.
  • Familiar with Clinical Data Management principle and best practice.
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel and Word.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical data management within the drug or medical device industry.
  • Business Objective and J Review experience is a plus.
  • Applied understanding of medical terminology.
  • Applied knowledge of clinical research and conduct of clinical trials

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a clinical team environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational ability.

Education:

  • Four-year BA (or equivalent) degree in life science, computer science, or business management disciplines
