Job Description

Manager – Compliance – GIFT City Office, Gandhinagar

Salary budget- 4-6lakhs p.a.

Job/Role Responsibilities

1. Managing IFSCA registered entities and SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)

reportings

Work closely with Finance Controller for –

a) Undertaking compliance and regulatory reporting activities (such as SEBI quarterly filing, IFSCA

quarterly filing, Income-tax related, FEMA and RBI reporting as applicable under SEBI / RBI

circulars and regulations)

b) Responding to any queries/ observations from various regulatory authorities

c) Assisting in the day to day compliance operations of the Funds

2. Investors related compliance and reportings

a) Assisting in the documentation & processes for onboarding investors in the IFSCA registered

funds including but not limited to KYC verification, anti-money laundering checks, etc.

b) Coordinating with various auditors in connection with above compliances

c) Assisting in any investor-specific reporting or query resolution for the Investment Manager

and Funds

d) Implement industry best practices to improve real time reporting

3. Secretarial Compliances

a) Assisting in Incorporation of structures including but not limited to Companies, LLP, Funds

registered with IFSCA or SEBI etc.

b) Filing various regulatory forms

c) Maintenance of secretarial records, statutory books and registers

d) Arranging board/general meetings and preparing/coordinating with consultants for minutes

thereof

e) Issue of shares and other securities including dematerialisation thereof

f) Any and all compliances of the Registrar of Companies or any other regulatory body

4. Training and Process Improvement

a) Striving for process improvements wherever needed.

b) Evolve business reporting to keep pace with changing business needs

c) Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance understanding and compliance

with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Company Secretary or any similar qualification

2. Min 1 year of experience post qualification preferred. Fresher candidates may also be considered.

3. Knowledge and experience in AIF industry would be preferred

4. Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail is a must

5. Ability and willingness to meet business deadlines

6. Strong time management and organizational skills
