ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for a detail-oriented, meticulous data-savvy person to join our product team to work on a holistic wellness product’s nutrition vertical, specifically to work with Nutrition experts and data team to curate, update and review the nutrition content. If you have a passion for working with Nutritional Information, you are in the right place.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work on a market disruptive product with the top standards of data hygiene.
  • Work and collaborate with the Food data team.
  • Collaborate and communicate across with the development, QA, and design team.
  • Develop a robust food taxonomy, working with nutrition experts to classify food data, to power next-generation nutrition, health, and wellness guidance.
  • Expand and improve the usefulness, ease of use, and quality of our food database for a global audience.
  • Improve search relevance, query understanding, data curation, and data extraction.
  • Deeply understand our customer and user segments, meeting regularly with target market audiences to refine product strategy and find product/market fit.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Very strong critical thinking and analysis skills. Ability to take an ambiguous problem, use data-informed brainstorming, identify goals and clear metrics.
  • Knowledge of SQL will be an added bonus, though not mandatory.
  • Understanding of Calorie breakdown, macro, and micronutrients will be given preference.
  • Strong passion for Health Metrics.
