Grow volume and profit through culinary expertise.

What you’ll do:

  • Facilitate and perform culinary process by providing menu analysis, innovative new concepts, prototypes and recipes as assigned for key and target customers and other projects utilizing dairy products.
  • Demonstrate products, design and give presentations as needed.
  • Grow volume by developing new product strategies with PLS, R&D, Sales and Insights in collaboration with the customers.
  • Build relationships with key customers, supplier networks and corporate chefs/new product development teams.
  • Research and report new culinary trends through periodicals, continuing education courses, food trade conferences, etc.
  • Share trends research with culinary team, customers and sales partners.
  • Computer knowledge, Word, Power Point, Office, shipping props and products.
  • Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.

What you need to succeed:

  • Graduate with Hotel Management Degree/BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management)/BBA in Hospitality

  • License/Certification in Culinary Arts or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Restaurant/foodservice cooking experience
  • Other: Prefer 5 years as Executive Chef or Sous Chef. A background in food manufacturing and/or teaching would be helpful.
  • The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative mindset, the flexibility to adapt and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be sales savvy, process oriented; possess strong written and oral communication skills. Computer skills, including an understanding of social media are important.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively within cross-functional technical teams is a must. Essential characteristics include self-motivation, tenacity and persuasion abilities.
  • Project management skills important.
  • This individual needs to have a demonstrated passion for food and cooking and present themselves in a highly professional manner.
  • Should be skilled at culinary demonstrations, giving presentations to teams and groups, leading trainings, and interfacing with internal and external customers and partners.
