Logistics and Manufacturing, Development, Global Customs

The Global Customs Team works in association with internal and external stakeholders on various path-breaking initiatives, such as AEO Certification, Trade-related development initiatives, Cost-Out, etc., and is in a constant endeavor to add value to the organization through its various initiatives and programs. In addition to the development initiatives, the Global Customs Team is also supporting documentation-related activities, such as European Union Trade Documentation & NCE Customs Documentation, and to support the Customs & Trade-related transactional and documentation activities in an efficient and effective manner.

Responsibilities

Business Support Professions (BSP) - Customs Documentation shall be responsible for effectively and efficiently processing Customs & Trade-related transactional documentation as per agreed SLA & quality standards. The Transactions & Documentations shall pertain to various countries in which Vestas currently operates, the initial focus would be for the countries in Northern & Central Europe, CIS Countries, etc. The main areas of responsibility are:-

Post Clearance Audit of Import & Export Declaration

  • Accurate Collation & Analysis of data of Import & Export Transactions
  • Systematic archiving of Trade Documentation
  • Timely processing of LSP / Customs Broker Invoices
  • Effective Coordination with internal & external stakeholders
  • Periodic reporting of performance and other transactional data
  • Participating in Projects and Initiatives to develop the Customs & Trade-related processes

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
  • Min. 1 to 5 Years experience in handling Customs Documentation & Processing of LSP Invoices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Team-oriented person & good stakeholder management skills
  • Quality-oriented and being innovative
