  • The Data Associate is a valuable member of the Data Team, directly contributing to the company in the provision of data, insights, and market intelligence for the financial services industry
  • This position will provide the opportunity to become an Institutions data specialist, covering key Companies in the industry, their Investment Portfolios and their key People
  • The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in internet research, reviewing annual reports, data entry, data collection, data processing, data accuracy, and insights into the financial services sector
  • Working within a long-established Data Team where members are passionate about data, financial services and researching
  • Each team member will have access to professional learning material, professional software, industry events and media titles to support their growth and expand their knowledge of the financial services
Responsibilities
  • Researching and confirming business information, investment portfolios and contact details.
  • Researching company websites and other sources for information.
  • Reading key media titles on the financial services market.
  • Data collection and processing of data for Companies, Investment Portfolios and Contacts.
  • Maintaining a database.
  • Assisting with processing subscriber and publication, address and email data.
  • Communication of tasks, progress, successes, and deadlines to the team.
  • Participating in an ongoing professional learning and development program in financial services.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about Data and /or financial services.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • University qualified in a relevant field, including, but not limited to Finance, Commerce, Business, Marketing or Economics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong Internet research skills.
  • Strong MS Office suite skills.
  • 1 to 13 years experience with data and/or conducting research.
  • Well organised and pro-active.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in learning about the financial services industry.
