MongoDB is looking for a Data Analyst within the Data Analytics team, supporting the People organization. This role requires someone with strong analytical and technical skills, and who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be involved in creating reports to monitor business and product performance, analyzing business trends, and developing automated Tableau dashboards.

This is a critical and highly visible role in one of the fastest growing enterprise software companies in the world where recruiting and employee experience are top priorities of the company. You will report to the People Analytics Manager and will be located in Gurgaon.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal People teams to develop thoughtful reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses aimed at improving their operations and tracking their performance
  • Surface insights that drive decision making across the business
  • Create dynamic, automated dashboards with using Tableau
  • Ensure a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency with ability to reconcile data issues and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Query data directly from various systems and our data warehouse using SQL, Python, or R
  • Seek out and automate existing costly manual processes
  • Create documentation for non-technical audiences to understand our metrics and processes

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in data analytics or business intelligence role
  • Minimum of 2 years building dashboards on Tableau Desktop
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills and proficiency with either Python or R
  • Experience pulling data directly from various systems and data warehouses using APIs
  • Proficiency with data modeling and data quality best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects through completion
  • Eagerness to develop and hone new skills
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
