We are looking for a 1+ year experienced database administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of instances. You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances. You will also work in tandem with product development teams.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provision MySQL/PostgreSQL instances.
  • Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
  • Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
  • Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

    • Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.Tech/M.C.A/M.Tech/MSIT
  • Strong proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL database management.
  • Good experience with recent versions of MySQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with replication configuration in MySQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
  • Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB will be a plus.
  • Experience in managing databases in the AWS cloud environment will be a plus.
