Roles and Responsibilities


  • Primary Role Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure virtual servers, peripherals, services, settings, storage, in accordance with standards and operational requirements
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
  • End to end responsibility of backup of all servers in DC and DR
  • Reviewing system and application logs,
  • Verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, etc
  • Regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. Daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate recovery tapes, and media is sent off-site as necessary & recover from system failures; coordinate and communicate with those impacted.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Provide in-depth troubleshooting and technical support, collaborate with teams, and document resolutions. Manage & maintain Internet firewall & VPN links & communicate appropriately with peers.
  • Should have 3-4 Yrs of AWS /AZURE/GOOGLE Cloud Exp
  • Provide L2-L3 level support to manage service support team, in case required
  • Audit finding points closure and improvement into existing infra.
  • Documentation related to compute, storage, and DC relation activities (ISO, ISMS, reviews)
  • Support in new project roll-out, new technology, and upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to IT Security initiatives, policies, and guidelines
  • Service Level management - KPI monitoring
  • Capacity and Contingency planning
  • Third-party Governance (Suppliers and Contract Management)
  • Change, Patch, and Lifecycle management
  • Forecast/Tracking of Risk & Mitigation measures


Desired Candidate Profile

  • ITIL Certified
  • Network Security & Architecture
  • Hands-on experience on DC management, Server Build (ON/OFF PREM)
  • ITIL Knowledge
