Formbay is the leading Renewable Energy Certificate Trading company in Sydney, Australia. We provide Digital Workflow and Compliance solutions in the renewable energy industry and document processing.

Thanks to our meteoric growth and our commitment to be the best at all we do, we’ve identified the need to bring on board a new Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. Reporting to our DevOps Manager, you will be developing and driving the infrastructure and operations supporting Formbays’ cloud based services.

Our infrastructure stack runs on AWS and leverages a broad range of technologies and languages including Terraform, Python, Golang, Docker, ECS, MariaDB and more – familiarity with these will give you a leg-up on the competition.

Our ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

  • Experience with running services on Linux
  • Coding ability in at least 1 language
  • System Operations experience
  • Proven ability to take business and product requirements and then collaboratively design and build the infrastructure, integrate, release and manage the service.
  • Up to date understanding of current infrastructure architecture patterns and operational best practices (e.g. well reasoned understanding of infra as code rather than specific terraform experience)
