Pathology Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research diseases and causes using various equipment, methods, and technologies
  • Prepare samples for examination
  • Analyze tissue, cell, body fluids, and other samples
  • Document analyzed results; report results and variations
  • Compile research and information needed for further study
  • Conduct tests, analyze, and categorize different samples against known results
  • Record and document clinical manifestations in samples
  • Comply with all lab procedures, processes, and methodologies
  • Collect and analyze abnormalities
  • Instruct and manage lab technicians and lab assistants
  • Conduct a wide range of tests using scientific processes and methodologies
  • Follow all health and safety regulations when handling and disposing of samples
  • Ensure the sanitization and sterilization of equipment and workspace
  • Submit research findings and data for study and collaboration

Pathology Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and Medical degree (MD or DO); Certified by the American Board of Pathology
  • Three to five years’ pathology residency
  • Must be licensed to practice in state
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Encouraging to lab technicians, pathologists; able to mentor and lead staff and students
  • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

  • Day shift
