ABOUT THE TEAM:
Our team interacts with multiple products within Realpage and is a center piece for integration for our Lead Management group. Lead Management is the center where all leads are processed and can potentially generate leases to our clients. As such we develop and support multiple applications tailored to interact with users, generate and propagate leads to CRMs. This is a fast, self-driven team that handles multiple ad-hoc requests in order to guarantee a successful implementation for multiple products.
WHAT YOUâLL DO:
As a Developer , you will interact with more senior developers, testers, business analysts and product owner. Daily activities consist in coding Java using Spring Boot framework and .Net Core. Following the Agile methodology, you will be assigned tasks with deadlines that must be meet to allow for successful and timely delivery of features to Production.
Ability to code in Front End (Angular, Vuejs) is preferable but not mandatory.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developer will be key player on team that is recreating our quoting platform. Position requires ability to design new code based on existing behavior from legacy systems.
Developer should be able to replicate and refine business logic adapting to new technology.
This is a fast paced position and developer should be experienced with latest Spring Boot framework and familiar and able to use Postgres DB, MyBatis, REST and SOAP APIs. Developer should also be able to troubleshoot issues within the application on a timely manner.

Daily activities include:
  • Scrum meetings
  • Coding, design and code review
  • Support to code released to Production
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Minimum 1 year experience coding and maintaining Java 8 applications with Spring framework
  • Minimum 1 year experience coding and maintaining .Net Core 3 applications
  • Work during most or all of US time (Central Time)
Position requires independence and high level of reliability
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Required knowledge:
  • Java 11
  • Spring Boot 2
  • Able to write SQL queries for Postgres
