DevOps Lead

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Design practices such as Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Automated Deployment and Application Performance Monitoring.
• Design short and long-term strategic plans to ensure the computing resources and network capacity meets existing and future requirements.

• Establishes and controls systems access and security.
• Monitor’s services and maintains network stability, collects and analyses of network and memory utilization, and installs and tests software upgrades.
• Manages cloud operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
• Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans on Cloud and Location Infra.
• Process implementation – ability to proactively respond to needs and continuously work towards improving processes and procedures.
• Highly motivated individual with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with internal teams and external team.
• Strong analytical ability to create innovative solutions, logical and problem-solving approaches on complex issues.

Key Competencies:

• Must Have:
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification and/or AWS Certified Developer Associate and/or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure lifecycle management and automating CICD pipelines.
• Experience with Blue/Green, Canary or other zero downtime deployments.
• Experience of setting up and using AWS cloud services like EC2, VPC, Route53, RDS, IAM, Cloudwatch, etc.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Ability to build and administer CI/CD.
• - Knowledge about infrastructure tools - CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Experience with any technologies like Kubernetes, Docker.
• Automation tools like Salt, Ansible, Lambda, etc.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.
• Experience with middleware like Nginx, tomcat, apache.
• Good To Have:
• Experience with Microservices and/or event driven architecture.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Experience in Release Engineering, Source Code Management, or related experience in an automated build, test and deploy environment.
• Experience of working on setting up IT infrastructure.
• Should have managed team in previous experience.
• Experience in creating feature specific branching and merging strategies.
• Ability to implement online/automated up-scaling or down-scaling of AWS cloud resources.
• Experience in Creating different alert/notification mechanisms for failure avoidance and / or preventions.
• Experience in cost optimizations.

Academic Qualifications:

• Should have a minimum 5+ years of expirience with B.tech/M.tech/MCA
