Job Title : Diploma Engineer Packing

Req. Experience : 1 to 4.5 years

CTC : 3.5 LPA

Job Responsibilities:

• Material Handling, MSDS, Powder, Liquid RM handling, Gate entry, SAP
• Conducting equipment trials during commissioning and ensure that all parameters committed by vendor are actually delivered during shop floor trials
• Ensure that the day level production targets are met by effective utilization of resources available and implement all safety, quality, environment related systems as per the laid guidelines
• Operating automated packing lines and ensuring high equipment efficiencies are delivered
• Analyze shift level data for production to find areas of improvement and initiate improvement projects for the same.
• Carry out troubleshooting on packing lines for regular breakdowns, identifying root cause for the same and providing solutions for elimination of such breakdowns
• Generation of break down notifications in system and handing over machines for major break down rectification and preventive maintenance
• Initiating Work permits and ensuring adherence to permit norms while carrying out any maintenance activities on the shop floor.
• Ensuring asset care for all Packing equipment and 5S of the work area. Working with best practises of 5S, TPM , TRACC and lean manufacturing.
• Carrying out effective equipment cleaning at periodic intervals and ensuring that equipment is always in spic and span condition at any given point of time.
• Ensuring zero rework generation and clearing any rework generated within the shift itself
• Minimize scrap generation from packing lines.
• Carrying out Packing order reconciliation at every batch end in SAP/ EWM and ensure that all consumption and paint postings are done correctly.
• Ensure functionality of all line interlocks at regular intervals and ensure that no defective finished product in moved to BSR from the respective packing line.
• Ensure proper documentation is carried out as per laid down process.
• Coordinate with other departments like Planning , Engineering in day to day activities and support each other for achieving departmental goals.
• Analyze any packing defects observed in DC/ Depots/Customers and prepare action plan for non-occurrence of defects.
• Actively participate in providing Kaizens, Suggestions and improvement ideas for continual block improvement.
• Conducting activities like preparing SOP’s, WI’s, HIRA, Aspect Impact, CAPA etc.
• Report unsafe act and unsafe condition in system.
• Conduct Toolbox Talk with the shift Team and contract workmen to ensure block safety
• Prior experience of working on DCS, MES , EWM and SAP
• Comfortable with MS-Office tools.

Skills Required:

• communication skills.
• Basic operational knowledge of DCS, MES, EWM and SAP.
• Knowledge of 5S, OEE, TPM, TRACC.
• Experience in Automated Packing Setups.
• Understanding of volumetric and weight metric filling machines, Pigging Lines, Carton Makers, Industrial Robots, Denesters and Depallatizers.
• Comfortable with MS-Office tools.
