Job description


Skill Set


Minimum B Tech/Equivalent Degree, ITIL knowledge

2-4 years of experience in SOC Operations, preferably using ArcSight SIEM, FortiSIEM, IBM QRadar

Experience with analysis and inspection of log information, packets, and other security tool information output from a variety of sources

Exposure to network devices, Microsoft Windows systems, UNIX systems, and other security assessment tools

Knowledge of packet capture and analysis

Familiarity with network security zones, basic reverse engineering principles, and understanding of malware rootkits, proxies, TCP/UDP packets, DNS, SMTP, and HTTP

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Strong understanding of platform

Good understanding on following platforms:

SIEM (Qradar/Splunk)

WAF (e.g. Imperva, Radware)

Proxy (e.g. forcepoint/Symantec/Zscaler)

Mail Gateways (e.g. Symantec/Mcafee)

Anti-Virus (e.g. Symantec/Mcafee)

EDR’s

Required Candidate profile

Required deep technical knowledge in security monitoring

Security incident reviews& investigations scenarios/alert (illustrative)

Phishing, Malware , DDOS attacks, Data leak/data exfiltration , Ransomware
