About the Position:

High visibility position to assist with the program management of high-technology projects at Juniper Networks, working on projects from concept to production. Focus of work is centered on assisting Mechanical, Thermal, EMC, Safety, and Power teams meet their project deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, prioritize, and execute on high tech (Internet Routers and Switches) hardware engineering project plans
  • Helps prepare project plans including schedules and budgets
  • Must be a skilled communicator and be able to clearly articulate deliverables, goals and issues to others, as well as be able to monitor and report on project status
  • Must be able to raise awareness of issues pro-actively and guide or influence the work of a multi-disciplinary development team to meet the goals of the assignment
Skills:

  • Product development Program management (products are routers, servers, etc.)

  • Thorough with Product development life cycle

  • Hardware design & test processes

  • Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Management of a shared centralized organization.

  • Should have ~5 years experience in board design

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Engineering (electrical, Electronics) or relevant experience. PPM certification a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Compliance functions (EMC, Safety, NEBS, DVT, Certifications) desired
