• Work with the architect and construction crew to ensure that each project is feasible.
• Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments.
• Manage job sites for both new construction and remodeling projects
• Create schedules for construction crew and ensure all projects are fully staffed
• Managing a project planning, contracting, execution, and monitoring team;
• Understanding of Structural Design and Civil Engineering
• Ensuring that all necessary equipment is on-site
• Ensure necessary permits, approvals and licenses are obtained and maintained in order.
• Ensuring that budget costs for wages, contractors, materials, and equipment are not exceeded
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Deal with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to reach an agreement.
• Recruit personnel and contractors for the project as per requirements.
• Ensure all legal, health and safety regulations are being followed throughout the project.
• Prepare and submit project estimates and project reports to the management at regular interval
  
  

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added advantages.
• Experience in remodeling projects (Institutions) preferred
• 15+ years experience in new construction and in a supervisory capacity
• Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
• Excellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once with no decline in quality control
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
