Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience 1+ years as an HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on payroll processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and labour laws.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.

  • Payroll Management:
  • Administer end-to-end payroll processes, including accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll processing.
  • Handle timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation components.
  • Resolve any payroll-related discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • HR Operations:
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring all necessary paperwork, orientations, and trainings are completed.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage employee benefits and leave administration, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth processes.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and external stakeholders regarding HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Handle employee queries, concerns, and grievances while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of HR practices.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Stay up-to-date with labour laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance in all HR-related matters.
  • Prepare and submit required HR reports, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support performance appraisal processes, assisting managers in setting goals and providing feedback to employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee development plans and training programs.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Contribute to creating a positive and engaging work environment by organizing team-building activities, events, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies that promote employee satisfaction and retention.
