Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required) :

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives, from requirement gathering and solution design to implementation and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs, data challenges, and technical requirements, and translate them into effective data engineering strategies.
  • Experience in scalable and robust data pipelines, data integration solutions, and data warehouses that ensure the availability, reliability, and accessibility of crucial business insights.
  • Provide technical lead in data engineering requirements and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Perform in-depth data system diagnostics to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Understanding of the data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations while handling data
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering and apply that knowledge to improve project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in data engineering with a focus on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and systems.
  • Proven expertise in data system diagnostics, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using data engineering tools and technologies such as [List relevant technologies, e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL databases].
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and their data services.
  • Prior experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a demonstrated ability to drive project success and mentorship.
  • Basic knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Certifications in data engineering, cloud platforms, or related areas.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, delivering successful data engineering solutions for external clients.
