RESPONSIBILITIES

  • with internal stakeholders for planning, monitoring and delivery of shipments
  • shipping logistics with Liners, Freight Forwarders, CHAs and Customs
  • accurate documentation
  • on process automation and digitization
  • reports on Logistics performance
  • the team productive, motivated and monitored
  • adherence to SLAs and quality requirements
  • of travel to Welspun location is expected

EXPERIENCE

  • 15 years in planning, purchasing, logistics or manufacturing of electronic products in a reputed firm, preferably in a conglomerate or enterprise similar to Welspun in size
  • of MRP systems, commercial software for shipping logistics, forecasting and demand management.
  • skills using Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • in digitization of Logistics data, having built leadership dashboards for monitoring key KPIs
  • communication and presentation skills
  • working experience in supply chain functions of planning, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics
  • on knowledge in production scheduling and relation to material supply and demand
  • knowledge working with suppliers – relationships and technical knowledge is a must.
  • on experience dealing with global freight forwarders
  • leadership skills & managerial experience
