We are looking for passionate engineers with experience in Mainframe Modernization. The candidate will be working on a team that is modernizing the Mainframe environment, which hosts the largest revenue generating application for CSG. This position will have the opportunity to leverage industry-leading technologies to migrate a legacy customer care and billing system to a newly architected solution that will support millions of transactions every day. This individual will be able to help design and build pieces of this solution and implement into a production environment using technologies that embrace our adaptability and allow us to respond to change quickly and efficiently.

Skills Required:

  • Should have solid knowledge of the z-platform and mainframe technologies such as zO/S, CICS, JCL, JES, RACF, ISPF, TSO, ROSCOE etc.
  • Must have sound knowledge of mainframe data stores such as DB2, VSAM, QSAM, GDGs, etc.
  • Must have strong mainframe development background in COBOL or Assembler, JCL, etc. Experience in Version Control (ISPW) and Scheduling Tools (CA-7, Apache Airflow) is desired.
  • Should have experience in distributed technologies like Linux, Shell Scripting, JAVA, Python, Jython, CI/CD, DevOps etc.
