Roles and Responsibilities

The individual would lead a team of 6 to 8 inbound focused sales executives engaged in helping clients to buy health insurance policies digitally. Clients would buy both personal as well as group insurance policies.

  • Recruit, train and motivate members to serve clients to buy group health insurance policies. Also, help our existing clients and their employees to buy personal health insurance policies.
  • Review pipeline/funnel of the team twice a day
  • Ensure specific update and status of each lead is daily updated in the firms CRM system i.e. PAM
  • Systematically improve connection ratio of incoming leads. Track and report this metric on daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Be the go-to person for the team to answer clients FAQs on product
  • Familiarize oneself with proprietary pricing raters of the firm to share quotes with the clients
  • Liaise with the underwriting team to seek exceptions on pricing for specific proposals
  • Handover the client to servicing team to onboard the client and manage day to day servicing
  • Follow-up with clients to renew policies timely. Ensure that persistency is duly maintained with the firms benchmark
  • Oversee interactions of the team with prospects and clients. Listen to call recordings as well as live calls
  • Identify specific training needs for the team and work with in-house training team to fill the skill - gaps

  • Persuasive skills for effectively closing a sale
  • Detail oriented to track and report, sales pipeline and achievements
  • Target oriented to be able to drive and motivate the team

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

  • Graduation in any field
  • Person should have prior experience of selling health insurance
  • Candidate must have prior experience in inside sales or tele-sales
  • Experience of selling group health insurance is preferred but not a must
