Mechanical Project Engineer I

Job Description

Department

Engineering support office (ESO) is responsible for making the standardization of products, tooling required to support products. ESO closely works with the project engineering team and R&D team.

Job Responsibilities / Core tasks

  • Supports product manager engineering, R&D for product development

  • Participate the product releases solving the PR/CR

  • Able to specify mechanical equipment and peer review specifications

  • Advise and reviews projects in the sales phase (compliancy check).

  • Be able to recognize project complexity, technical problems and support the engineering team proactively.

  • Transfer knowledge to other engineers.

  • Initiates improvements in content, process, and tooling

  • Feeds back lessons learned from the project into product, process, and tooling

Job Skills / Functional / Technical Skills

  • knowledge of mechanical installations and layouts.

  • knowledge of steelwork design requirements.

  • Proficient in 3D modelling and CAD software (ACAD, NAVIS, ..)

  • Able to perform health and safety risk analysis on component.

Qualification

BE. / B. Tech (Mechanical engineering) degree from a recognized University / Institution.

Experience

5 -8 years of experience in mechanical project engineering work / experience in R&D product development
