Exp: 3-5 years; Rajiv Plastic Industries, a leader in the manufacture and sale of Colour Masterbatches and Polymer Compounds, has immediate opening for a Quality Control Officer. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties to adjust color on production lots and render quality control judgments for raw materials in-process and finished products. Duties include the operation of weighing scales, analytical balances, blenders, mixers, lab molding machines and other related equipment; maintaining logs, records and data; performing computer color corrections in order to make appropriate colorant additions to production; giving final color approval for each product; performing in-process and final product quality control tests; etc. Qualifications
  • The position requires 3-5 years related experience
  • Diploma in plastic processing technology / science graduate with CIPET diploma
  • Thorough knowledge of colorants, pigments, dyes and color matching
  • Must be familiar with polymer testing procedures
  • Must be computer literate and be able to run a Color Spectrophotometer
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 documentation
  • Familiar with injection moulding and extrusion
