BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Have you heard about orchestration and the role it plays in microservices or event-driven architecture? In the Orchestration and Event Platform Team we develop and operate a set of tools to help our customers scale their products by providing flexible automation, product configurations and event processing.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

You will join a distributed team of engineers and product analysts, building software with craftsmanship, SOLID principles and working with SCRUM methodology. The team works with a great level of autonomy, it’s intrinsically motivated, very ambitious and takes a lot of pride in providing a high-quality service to our customers. Whilst our product enjoys maturity and PRD readiness, we are actively developing new features and refining existing ones… and here is where we expect you to play a role!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of solutions at scale for complex challenges in the area of orchestration and event management.
• You will engage in technical discussions to refine or design new features, where you (and your peers) should proactively watch and make sure the best idea is chosen.
• You will enjoy a zero-guilt atmosphere, where you are expected to provide and receive open, constructive criticism on technical matters and processes.
• You will take pride in providing excellent support and advise to our customers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in software development with Java 8, 11 (preferred)
• Experience in frontend with Angular 9+ (preferred) or ViewJS/React
• Knowledge of Web Technology, REST, HTTP and JSON
• You are curious, a fast learner, with a flexible mindset and a proven record of adaptability
• You have a can-do attitude and you understand challenges as learning problems
• You are very comfortable working in an agile environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Overall experience as FullStack Developer of 5+ years
• Experience in Typescript, Redux/ngr
• DevOps skills (Docker, K8s, Jenkins, Git, Helm). “Automation first” and “everything as code” mindset
• Experience with Spring Boot and Swagger
• Experience in Azure

EDUCATION

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English
