Job Description SummaryThe person has to be a Graduate engineer in Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 10 - 15 years’ experience and possess hands on expertise in terms of quality assurance in the shop floor where in he would be assuring the Quality of our inverters and storage systems through a team of inspectors and engineers. It is expected that the candidate has a strong understanding of the workings of AC-DC/ DC-DC converters, Transformers, Phase modules, circuit breakers, Harnesses etc and assembly best practices.Job DescriptionMain responsibilities of the manufacturing quality leader would be the following:1 Perform audit inspection of the products.

• Evaluate the deviations and concerns with the cross functional team and define improvement actions using the 8D methodology.
• Evaluate drawings, FMEA’s, control plans, Inspection plans and work instructions for meeting Quality objectives
• Work with the NPI team for the advance quality planning of new products.
• Maintain and improve the ISO documentation, conduct QMS review meetings, coordinate with the certifying body for surveillance and recertification audits.
• Conduct periodic process audits, define and follow-up improvement actions.
• Observe and identify opportunities for improvement of the processes at incoming, in-process and final assurance stages.
• Coordinate with customers for the plant audits.
• Coordinate and facilitate audits by regulatory bodies such as UL, IEC, Intertek Etc. and work on opportunities for improvement.
• Acquire inputs from the project sites on the Quality concerns and communicate to the stake holders as well as collaborate with Mfg and Engg teams for the improvement actions.
• Participate and lead periodic Kaizen events.
• Be proficient in the application of Quality tools and conduct trainings to associates on usage of them.
