Position summary:
We are seeking a bright, self-motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer to join the company’s Engineering team. You would be responsible for hands-on build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration and monitoring in supporting infrastructure and the release pipeline for global commercial software platforms. Candidate must be comfortable in driving Continuous Integration / Deployment initiatives in the cloud.

An ideal candidate would have process automation skills using RPA technologies and tools in the financial services sector.

Key Duties & accountabilities:
Automation and streamlining of the infrastructure, operations and deployment processes.
Tools and automation-based monitoring of production environments to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability.
Troubleshooting and resolving root cause issues in our dev, test and production internal and cloud environments.
Team member role in on-time, high quality delivery of products thru the entire application lifecycle.

Your Profile:
Overall 10-12 years’ experience in Software development and deployment
7+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise DevOps pipelines in a commercial environment
Must have excellent knowledge of “infrastructure as code”.
Expert level background in Windows administration.
Good background in AWS administration.
Experience with using Git
Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, CodeBuild or similar

Deep knowledge of AWS Services including:
ECS/Fargate/ECR
S3
Lambda
VPC
Route 53
RDS
EC2, Load Balancing
CloudWatch
CloudFront
Proven history of DevOps in AWS
Good understanding of networking
Experienced in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.
Experienced in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
Experienced in Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar
