Role description
This role works in the Program Management office and its purpose is to drive cost, quality, plan, time, process and benefits realisation; through ensuring that all projects adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for Program management.
PM develops and implements best practices to enable the successful delivery of a broad range of Solution offerings. Main responsibilities include: scope and business case management, benefits and quality management, stakeholder management, portfolio management and project planning including milestone management and vendor management. Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management, maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs, resource forecasting, change control, dependency management, and programme reporting.
Operationally, the Program Manager under PMO provides and enable project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning and decision making.

What the role entails
(Key Responsibilities)
- Ensure the blueprinting of PMO Strategy and Delivery Excellence construct
- Operational framework for successful implementation of the PMOs priorities across Centre, Region and Project locations
- Establish governance frameworks and standards for Program and Project Management; enabling periodic reviews across teams
- Manage and track Program related Financial and KPI information
- Oversee project costs, revenues and ensure financial deliverables
- Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across the solution offering
- Create solution wide Playbooks for standardizing STL way of execution
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analysis to support business case development and the implementation of projects
- Ensure the appropriate program benefits are identified, quantified and their realisation planned
- Disproportionate focus towards outside In approach, evaluate adjacent industries and global benchmarking
- Define and embed project control and governance
- Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting, Financial Management, Change Management across the project portfolio
- Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business
- Ensure efficient change control methods and processes are utilised
What we are looking for in you

1. Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
2. Should have good experience in Fibre Passive Deployments
3. Fibre OSP Construction and Maintenance or relevant Telecom Experience.
4. AT for Fibre Passive Networks, Hand Over documentation etc.
5. Experience of Program and project level financial management
6. Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project
7. Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS project
8. Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
9. Strong stakeholder management
10. Knowledgeable and experienced in efficient Change Management methods
11. Ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organisation
12. Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues and dependencies
13. Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
14. Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
15. Experience of project management using PMP or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large size projects
16. Experience in supporting teams during RFP response for fiber services projects
