Role Description

This is a full-time research scholar at IIT Mandi. The scholar will be responsible for analytical work, communication tasks, project management, training, and research. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to research and development, collaboration with team members, publication and reports.

Areas of Interest:
Microbial, Enzymatic Induced Calcite Precipitation
AI/ML applications for Geotechnical Engineering
Geotechnical Landslide Susceptibility Modeling/Mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a civil engineering, GATE qualified, Masters in Geotechnical Engineering or aligned areas.
• Experience in academic or research projects is a plus
• Analytical Skills, experiment planning, execution, and Research skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in conducting research
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies
