Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesDesign release of new platforms and their variants as per requirements from Product planning. Lead the team comprising of members from different aggregates and other functions to finalize product design specifications and quality targets. Develop business case and the time plan tolead the project in definedtime, cost and quality targets with risk assessment at different stages of product. Co-ordination for development, testing and assembly of initial batches as per targeted launch plan. Ensure that the product development cycle is followed through all the critical steps, by continuous monitoring, control to ensure FTR and ATR. Mentoring the team to get updated with prevailing technologies and manufacturing processes in different aggregates. Make the teams to create detail designs from the concept/s, to ensure robustness of the respective system by meeting component level and system level design validation requirements. Forecast customer needs and be ready with the solutions to assist company in retaining its leadership position. Ability to scan for technologies that offer new opportunities to differentiate. Understand ing PALs, Preparing a technology road map for new features / technologies be introduced in series, in new platform/s, monitoring the adherence and executionEducation QualificationB.Tech/M.TechGeneral ExperienceFair knowledge about other aggregates, design elements, manufacturing processes.Knowledge about application of tractor in different geographies and for different crops.Number of processes, patents, design registrations, engineering standards released.Exhibit understanding of possible field failures and be able to correlate the same with internal testing resultsSystem Generated Secondary Skills
