Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in industrial settings, particularly in Vendor Quality Management, Quality Management System, and garment quality control (Online & Final).

In this pivotal role, you’ll be immersed in the factory environment, dedicating the majority of your time to establish robust systems, streamline processes, and implement effective control mechanisms. Your primary objective is to ensure and enhance product quality while driving continuous improvement and autonomy within the factory.

Additionally, you will play a key role in planning and preparing factories for various assessments, covering Quality (QMS), DPR (Process), HRP (Compliance), and Environmental.

You will be also working with your fellow Production Leader Industrialization / Product Engineer to understand more about the product specifics and ensure that it is well taken care of during the production.

Total Work - 2-10 Years (Preferred)

QUALIFICATION

  • B.Tech in Textile / Apparel / Fashion (OR) Equivalent Degrees
  • Fluency in English

Deatiled Job Description

PRODUCT QUALITY:

  • I detect quality risks on my perimeter
  • I monitor the quality performance in my perimeter through all available quality indicators
  • I Ensure the Quality of the Products by controlling Incoming(Raw material), Online (Process) & final (Inspections)
  • I guarantee the quality of my products and improve sustenance of quality in production.
  • I solve the problems detected in my perimeter through the DPS Methodology / sustainable RCA.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

  • I manage my supplier on quality through the appropriate routine.
  • Improve the Quality system and the team responsible at the factories you will handle
  • Improve and optimize the production processes to make it more efficient
  • I will ensure and assist suppliers in establishing well-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout their factories

CONTROL PLANS :

  • I Co build my supplier control plan which is product-criticality-aligned
  • I ensure my control plans are mapped to appropriate DPR & DCS.
  • I ensure to control my products & perimeter with the defined control plan methods and frequency.
  • I implement a risk analysis on my perimeter and manage my suppliers according to risks and stakes.
  • I support my supplier on fundamental control plans deployment

HOMOLOGATION :

  • I homologate 100% of my product until Go Shipment
  • I ensure that the previous homologation steps are respected by my fellow PLI before being taken for production.
  • I ensure that the suppliers maintains all the necessary documents of homologation file and that it is being updated in defined frequencies

HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY IN PRODUCTION :

  • I Ensure that Decathlon Compliance standards and the local regulation are respected, in terms of safety, environment, toxicology, and social compliance
  • I ensure to help the supplier in preparing their HRP assessments
  • I detect any high risk situations in terms of safety or compliance

ASSESSMENTS :

  • I detect unacceptable situations in my suppliers (E-points detection)
  • I drive my partner toward autonomy through self assessments
  • Prepare and plan the factories assessment for Quality (QMS), DPR (Process), HRP (Compliance) and Environmental standards
  • I ensure to maintain a routines to ensure that the factory is sustaining the desired / achieved levels across all assessments
