What you’ll be doing...



You will be part of Verizon Network & technology group. You will be playing critical role in enabling QE activities on key programs for Wireless/Wireline networks. You will collaborate with teams to deliver strategic programs in performing/establishing end to end testing. You will also be getting an opportunity to work on transformation programs.

  • Should participate in requirements meetings / PI Planning calls, understand the changes and should do impact assessment and prepare test cases / scenarios for the assigned deliverable.
  • Should be able to drive the team on E2E related flows and ensure to work closely with PO and user community for the demos.
  • Supporting projects by focusing majorly on writing Java, Java script & node js programs in the context of quality testing/automation.
  • Providing automation engineering support and work towards delivering highly efficient and reliable applications to the customers.
  • Should automate the test execution and identify the defects through automation.
  • Should understand the org KPIs (Progression automation, automation efficiency, regression automation, CI/CD etc) and diligently follow and accomplish the targets defined.
  • Should work closely with Dev partners and users both onshore / offshore and close the action items.
  • should support UAT and Production shakeout during implementation as needed.
  • Should provide daily status on the work progress and attend all the ceremonies and calls with onshore as needed / scheduled.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years with relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Core Java, Selenium, SOAP UI, SQL, Node JS, Jmeter.
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD pipeline, DevOps Tool chain (Jenkin, QTest, JIRA, GIT/STASH).
  • Experience with various automation tools & frameworks (Testng puppeteer, Page object Model, Key word and Data driven Framework) developing software test plans, managing defects lifecycle using standard tools.
  • Knowledge in SDLC practices and methodologies – Agile, Safe Agile.
  • Experience with Security tools and technologies like Fortify while actively resolving threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge on Web Services / Micro services testing using SoapUI/Selenium/Swagger.
  • Knowledge in flow based automation and should keep track of all defects resulting from testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are resolved on time.
  • Knowledge on Database and should be able to write SQLs and Procedures for testing needs.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Good communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
  • Experience on testing principles, applying different testing techniques to deliver a high quality product.
  • Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.
  • Knowledge of reusable component development.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to solve problem along with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Python and AWS.
  • Knowledge on the DevOps & having Node js/ React js.
