This role is in the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)’s Commodities, Currencies & Emerging Markets (CCEM) Technology team. The team has global ownership for application suite that Sales and Traders use for managing Clients’ leave orders across asset-classes. The order management system involves order capture, market data subscriptions, order proximity alerts, pricing & structuring, trade-booking and STP; while satisfying all the regional regulatory/compliance/surveillance requirements around pre-trade & post-trade transparency. Given the global ownership, the role requires appropriate diligence in prioritization, taking the right architectural/implementation decisions, stakeholder management, and release management/planning with Operate.

The role will involve close collaboration with business partners with wide range of business processes and new initiatives.

Current focus areas are:

  • CCEM Order/RFQ management and life cycle
  • Workflow management
  • UI tools for front office and middle office
  • Business controls
  • Regulatory reporting

A successful candidate will have:

  • Strong Python/Linux skills
  • Familiarity with Java and OOPS concepts
  • Pragmatic problem-solving/data-structures/algorithm skills

The technology stack comprises of UI applications and server-side processes mainly written in Python. Domain knowledge of Commodities & FX derivatives, trade management systems, P&L processes and risk computation is a plus.

The role requires top-tier organizational and communication skills, and preferably experience collaborating with partners in front-office, middle office, business management and quantitative teams.
